Advancing Prostate Enucleation Training in France: A New PlasmaLEP Workshop at CHU de Lille
We are delighted to highlight another successful milestone in our ongoing commitment to advancing urological education across Europe. A new Prostate Enucleation workshop was recently held at CHU de Lille, once again showcasing the capabilities of our PlasmaLEP technology under the expert guidance of Dr. Martin Lorette.
Organized by our Regional Manager, Rémi Weksteen, this workshop forms part of our strategic mission to expand the adoption of the PlasmaLEP system in France, with a particular focus on the Hauts-de-France region. The event brought together esteemed urologists from across the country, offering them a hands-on opportunity to explore the clinical advantages of this next-generation bipolar enucleation system.
Expert Collaboration and Clinical Insight
We extend our sincere appreciation to Dr. Noémie Becquart-Clément, Dr. María Begoña Martínez Rodríguez, and Dr. Guillaume Legrand for their active participation. Their engagement contributed significantly to the scientific value and collaborative atmosphere of the workshop.
A special acknowledgment goes to Dr. Martin Lorette, whose expertise and clinical demonstrations provided attendees with an in-depth understanding of PlasmaLEP’s performance. Participants noted the remarkably easier learning curve of PlasmaLEP compared with other enucleation systems, emphasizing the intuitive electrode design, precise dissection capabilities, and exceptional haemostasis the system delivers.
PlasmaLEP: Designed for Accessibility and Excellence
One of the defining strengths of the PlasmaLEP system is its accessibility. Unlike many advanced surgical platforms that require major capital investment, PlasmaLEP enables healthcare institutions to adopt a high-performance enucleation solution without significant financial constraints. This accessibility supports broader implementation across both large university hospitals and smaller regional centers, ensuring more patients can benefit from modern bipolar enucleation techniques.
Continuing Our Educational Mission
Workshops such as the one at CHU de Lille play a central role in our commitment to improving standards of care in urology. By providing surgeons with hands-on training and access to leading technologies, we continue to support the development of safe, effective, and innovative clinical practices.
