TruBipolar™ Technology
Trubipolar technology means that all energy is carried inside the electrode and not throught the resectoscope.
No power on the resectoscope eliminates the risk of inappropriate energy discharge to the patient and end user.
HYBRID
Hybrid means 2 cables are plugged into the resectoscope:
- one which carries the electricity to the electrode
- one that receives back the power through the whole resectoscope
Today most of the available systems on the market are Hybrid.
This system has the major disadvantage of carrying electricity.
TRUBIPOLAR
One cable directly attached to our electrode compared to 2 cables on a hybrid system.
Our electrodes conduct all electricity generated.
The short distance between the 2 poles reduced the amount of energy required to activate the Plasma.
